1710€ for new laptop, headphones, external drives and ram well ok I think the main reason for my old pc was editing and there goes another 1000€.

I better don't calculate the value of the dvds or I would start to cry. I think they are worth around 1000€.

Well, usually anyway. I can certainly put a price on lost productivity due to AMVs, but maybe then I'd rather not .____.

It's hard for me to count it up, because AMVs overlap with other hobbies pretty heavily for me. I don't spend that much on anime, but I spend lots on music which is not always (but often) AMV-related, since my AMVs are usually music-inspired. Computer-wise, my computer is only a small part editing machine - most of the time it's a work tool, media centre, social crutch, generic gaming system and a moderately-cheap flight simulation setup. Go figure what part of its cost I can blame on editing.

If I had to guesstimate though, it's probably well over $3000.
