Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Hard-Boiled Megaton Junction

Well, this video was a long time coming. I have never done so many digital effects in one video or used so many programs. Never done editing of this caliber before and thus I have to thank my beta testers for helping me through this.

The tough part for me was all the masking. Even though I am somewhat able with masking and somewhat decent, it was still hard for me and painstaking to do so much in one video and at one time. Crashed my computer and External so much making this that I am glad the final video came out as well as it did.

I tried to keep the pace up and the flow as much as possible and slow it down where needed. So, if you wind up leaving an Op. for this video, please be informative for future videos that I may put out. It would be much appreciative.

If you are looking for a story, this isn't the AMV for you. Just straight up action and drama like stuff. So, I hope you enjoy.

If you are wondering about the name of the video, the term Hard-Boiled comes from what I named the mix after completing it. And since I used the mix for this video, I decided to call it what it is.

All in all, I did my best with what knowledge I have and what help I received.

Enjoy XD

~TC~

EDIT: Sorry for the indirect link. The FTP was acting funny for some odd reason and wouldn't let me upload it to the site. As soon as the problem is fixed I will put the direct link up.

It got progressively better from 1:20 onwards. Mostly because you stuck to straight editing. the masks in the beginning were still really rough.

I like the KOTOR :D and of coarse that FF vs. DOA stuff I found a year ago on machinima... they kick ass!! And the dancing bit at the end (not the anime) are those CG characters too?? Just awesome!!

Oh? as an amv? eh... I just felt the anime was just used as an excuse to show your awesome... but maybe that's my own tastes. Glad you got it up here!!
2/ 5 as an amv

Pretty much my sentiments, but I liked it as a whole overall pretty well. Although I think you may have tried a little too hard on this one buddy.
