My Gang, A Wild Arms Tribute (sort of)

Post by Jenya » Wed Jul 15, 2009 8:18 pm

Video: My Gang
Category: Character Profile, Fun, Other
Anime: Wild Arms (game), Wild Arms 2, Wild Arms 3, Wild Arms 4 (Game), Wild Arms: Alter Code F
Song: Me and My Gang
Artist: Rascal Flatts
Creator: Jenya

Well, it finally came time for me to put up or shut up. It's my very first AMV, but I'm decently proud of it. Cleaning up that footage from the PSone games was murder, and in the end I probably overdid it. Despite that, it still looks ten times better than when I started. XD

I wish I had had more footage to work with. Would have given me more flexibility with my editing. But I still think it came out nicely.

Looks like you're off to a good start. I see lots of things done right on the technical side (timing's pretty good, video flowed with the music, to name a few), and no big first-vid-blunders so congrats. It didn't blow me away, but I think it's decent.

That's my unbiased judgment. As for my personal tastes, well...I love Wild ARMs and Rascal Flatts, so expect an opinion from me sometime this week.

For future reference, you can find out how to link to your vid without typing out all the info manually in the VidID thread.

Eeee! ::huggles:: Thanks! Phew, I'm rather glad someone shares a similar opinion that I do about my AMV. Makes me feel I'm keeping a good mindset. Just gotta up the ante with the technical stuff...when needed anyway. I want to try masking at some point, but I'm thinking that's going to take some serious trial and error for me. So maybe further down the road.
