Kenshin's Change

Post by Blade227 » Sun Jul 12, 2009 12:33 am

Title: Kenshin's Change
Category: Character Profile, Serious, Action, Drama
Anime: Samurai X - Trust and Betrayal
Song: Change (In the House of Flies)
Artist: Deftones
Creator: Petar007

I use Petar007 as my name in my AMV's. You can read the video description at the video page - (http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... p?v=169954). I just wanted to announce this video. I've been using this site for quite some time, but I've now chosen to upload a video after finishing my third AMV. Might upload the others later. Watch the video and any comments are welcome. Thanks!

I wasn't expecting all that much, honestly, but I was pleasantly surprised. While it's no where near perfect, your editing shows a lot of promise. Timing was pretty good and most of the clips matched the song very well. I wasn't sure if you meant for there to be a story or not and if so what it was (just from watching the video and not reading the description), though I didn't really mind, since I generally pay more attention to the mood of the video, which was done well. The effects weren't the best, and a few times it looked like you were trying to match beats that weren't there (unless my speakers just didn't bother playing them). Masking could have been better, but it was decent. These are things that improve with practice. Also, the fact that I enjoyed this despite generally not liking videos that use anime more than 7 or so years old says something. And I've never seen this anime either.

Other people may have completely different opinions, but I thought this was quite good for a third video. It's better than my 10th probably was... or maybe 20th...

Keep up the good work. ^_^

Not bad for a third video. Most if not all the effects were pretty ugly tho. Also, the masking was awful and tacky looking. You really should've gotten rid of the masks and effects entirely. Would've been a much more solid feeling well rounded video that way.

But like I said, it's not bad and I was able to sit through it, so for a third video it's quite good.
