Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

hmm sorreh but I have to agree with this. It just some of it didn't flow together all too nicely. Also some of the parts where you tried to sync it were just completely off beat and looked really awkward, try avoiding that in future videos.&& I do like the big collage of scenes you always seem to do in your videos now. In the end I loved seeing this at AX with its all shiny-macross-frontierness and thanks for all the support! x]

Don't use my real name, people are going to start stalking me now. :|

I know what you mean there, I lacked a lot of scenes to use hence the follow up with music but I tried my best to keep up with it. I'm glad your telling me this since now I know, we only do better from our mistakes. But I'm still glad you enjoyed it.

Great seeing the completed version even after I beta'ed it and congrats for making it into to AX finals.

Like I said before, I wasn't a huge fan of several of the effects, and it felt a bit long at some points, but you captured the atmosphere of the anime and song combination really well.

How did it feel having the crowd's undivided attention instead of the preshow this time?

I greatly appreciate the comments Castor and thanks as you were also a great influence in the making of this AMV, so you beta testing this was one of my biggest priorities when working on this and by what you said I got a lot more motivation out of your comments. As for effects, this is something I'm just getting into the field, so I knew their would be some criticism but I'm glad that you saw the atmosphere of the AMV, as I really wanted to convey the anime.

It felt just amazing and a little surreal to have the audience's attention, not once but twice, being the last AMV in the show seemed like it was a coincidence and people really enjoyed it and that's all that matters. Loved it when fangirls screamed as Ranka Lee first appears on screen (green haired girl), that was just awesome.
