I don't think it'll be considered much better, just small tweaks I made more than anything else, the redone one is actually simpler than the first. Most of the mistakes that I might have made originally, may still be there, since I can't see it, and hence was asking for some advice on how to improve on them. Mostly, it's just been addressing the use of effects and LA scenes, I've tried to correct upon. There are still maybe 6-7 scenes that still use some video FX (primarily glow and nothing else).

Much better. It has better flow and concentration on the story now.

There're still lots of empty spaces (like when you hang for a slow note on a still) and some effects are a little forced, but it's still pretty solid vid for beginning (neverminding the length, it's not precisely the shortest song).

Nice job, keep it up! (b^^)b

Thanks, well I know I can't adjust the scenes anymore, I've already chucked out all the raw clips to make space for another project, but I'm glad that someone still likes it somewhat...removing the LA clips actually helped me try to make the storyline closer, some scenes I would have liked to have done differently, but I was not sure, on a technical aspect, as to how to accomplish it properly. So it shall remain as is.

Major improvement, but I would still pull a lot out of it. I think you can get simpler still. And I still don't see the necessity of the live action, the piano keys, or the weird clock effect in the beginning. These things pull me out of the experience. They disrupt the flow just as I am really getting into it. In short, they make me RAGE.

You do know the clock effect is an actual scene from the anime, that was no effect on my part, and I put it in because it showed a point where Chihiro sees Renji for the first time.

Also, what live action scenes are you talking about? There are none in the redone version... :?

The only parts that have any video fx added at all were the walking/running scenes, as well as a scene where they were sitting by the beach in the second verse. Other than those points, everything was based on actual scenes in the show.

Huh. I downloaded the final version after you announced you had fixed it. Maybe I didn't view it closely enough so I thought I saw changes to the original?

I have ef, but definitely don't remember the clock thing. Doesn't seem to fit the style, but I'd have to go back and watch.

Where is the link to the final final?

final final is a new release (which it should be, he's done it right), it's at the end of the first post.

The clock thing is in one of the endings :) I remember it, since it's inspired by a Czech thing, Orloj.

Oh hey a Chihiro vid, nice |:>

The song definitely worked for this relationship, so good job on that. In terms of that though, concentrating on Renji in reference to Chihiro would've been a better angle, though your scene selection was very much close to the scenes I would've used myself had I made this video (read into that as you will :P).

That said, yea.. the live action parts were definitely no good in my eyes. A lot of the overlays (especially the Chihiro in the sky part and the incorrect AR overlays towards the climaxes) were just too cheesy to work well.

Overall I did like it, but those detractions really take away too much for me to watch it again. Hell, if you "fix" those parts then I might be inclined to say this is my second fav Chihiro-vid so far. You can guess what's on top of that list :P
