More basic editing goodness.

Really enjoyed it. Some of the flashes were kind of pointless though even if they were synced... I would of just left em out.

4/5
"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

Too soon man... too soon ;_;

As for the technical side of it, the quality was a huge downer but hey. Scene selection felt somewhat off with you seemingly juggling dynamic scenes with still ones, back and fourth which threw me off. Pace was also slightly awkward and I could really notice the cuts, they felt jarring and at points inappropriate. However, despite all that you still managed to get some good mood and flow going on, and like the Keyfag sucker I am, I teared up a little just watching all that again. Bonus points for using BAD END.

Overall 3.5/5 rounded up to 4/5. It was enjoyable but there were too many faults distracting me from the emotion this AMV was trying to build on.

hmmmmmmmmm.
For the beginning parts with Nagisa I kind of liked the editing, but the sync seemed too rough for some scenes
Spoiler :
once it came down to the kid I really felt like you just smashed everything together to show the story, as a result It did not flow together too nicely. The story itself is just so sad, but I am glad you kept the "bad" ending. I completely hated it once they made it all happy ending in the show. D; soo you get points for that

Whaa, you made a video and I didn't even know about it? Baw! Shame on me.

I don't think 'enjoy' would be the right word for this video :P At first, I was actually really enjoying the editing - I like how you handled this all through actually, no complaints on the editing front at all from me. Some of the internal sync is actually really neat (if a bit shameless sometime), but all in all everything fits in well. But as the video went on, I actually paid less attention to the editing and more attention to the story. Which is probably the best sign of a successful video here - the video did EXACTLY what it needed to do to be successful, for me anyway - it hit the high-low (but mostly low) dynamic, it nailed down storytelling with characters, plot and obvious complication, it kept very focused, and then of course it ended where you wanted it to (aka on the "thanks-for-ruining-my-day"-tier depressing note). So by the end I'd forgotten about the editing, which is I think exactly what a story-driven video needs to do.

Good job, I think this is your best work yet. I'll take one wrist please. :amv:

still  on the dramatic elements and story telling. 4.5/5
I completely agree, I figured the lip flap would be the one thing I'd get slammed for, especially in the faster scenes, but I'm glad you were able to enjoy the vid despite this, thank you for letting me know.

Yeah, I could see how there could be to many flashbacks going on here, thanks for the review.

Thanks for the review pas, (and nifty pas-amation) I'll keep your thoughts in mind if I make another drama like this in the future.

I completely agree they killed it with that end. Thanks for watching, I was a bit rougher with the second part than the first. I tried to shy away from the 'fade to black' typical thing I usually do, which might not have came across very well. But thank you much for letting me know what you thought.

Well you've been busy with broken elbow, thesis editing masturba-... stuff
besides this was a quicky video anyway =p

Thankies sir, glad you liked it. It's no 'She was' but I think it's ok =p

Ah you are correct sir, then my apologies. If anything you can look at it as a simplified review version sans crappy ending?
