Hideaki is a guy's name and is possibly Shizune's trap brother.

I don't lurk their forums that much anymore and I found this much out. Even comments in the Shimmie implies this.

The fact that they're saying all first drafts are complete coupled with the earlier release of act one make me doubt that they would have had each path writer rewrite the paths of each girl in order to fit in another character. But then, it is coming out of the minds of Anon, so who knows what they might do.

I don't think it's a new character, just a side character who appears after Act 1 revealed.

Well when I said "new" I meant a character we haven't seen before. Even though it's probably a side character it's still a "new" character. Someone to stir things up a bit. And quite often in anime there are guys with girls names and girls with guys names.

And I still think it's someone from Hisao's old school. We never did see his old uniform.

I was originally doubtful that it was a trap. Upon looking at the pic again and realizing that the person has shorts on, I'm starting to wonder, myself.
The quote lends itself quite well to such a conclusion as well.
