Came out wrong... The monitor was for a five year old computer, and we never threw either of them away, so yeah... And I ended up doing some research, seems I either need to get a dvi to analog adapter or, what ZephyrStar suggested, get a new graphics card that allows two dvi ports.SQ wrote:.... Sorry Kio, it seems I missed this post! My BIOS (Gigabyte motherboard) has two options: first one is called "onboard VGA", which has to be set to "always on" (the other option is "only on when PCIe isn't used) and the other option is called "initial display" which you ofcourse set to "PCIe". Note that the onboard VGA is weak(er), so refresh rate and resolution might not be optimal depending on the strength of yout onboard VGA chip.Kionon wrote:Teach me your ways, oh master? ...I have onboard VGA I do not use.Douggie wrote:Triple monitor FTW!
I recently discover that there's an option in the BIOS that allows you to use both your video card and your motherboard VGA-out.
