plz do not say "america" refering only to US, i feel ashame , i would try to contradict you, but in my country hentai and explicit violence are banned from amv contest

you know in "american competition" it´s thousand times better to make a 3 minutes amv of non-sense violence and glowling lights, or a cliche romantic theme, than a little video that actually have a plot, argument or idea, so i guess it is better to just smile with sparks, than a video that can take a commercial pop song in something "useful"...

btw im not saying "those video sucks", but it isn`t the same a vid which its general idea is to put a black screen when a beat sounds, than one that use images to transmit an idea, even without using letters, something that in commercials films was buried with Charles Chaplin

so go take your pg-13 moral, and insert it you know where , because even with that footage, this video is not using that in a "sneaky" way.

Eh, the song didn't fit. Lyrically it was fine, just the music seemed fairly typically somewhat upbeat pop crap. It's not quite as bad as watching a suicide matched to hyper jpop would be, but it's pretty close (perhaps there's an idea for Attack of the Otaku II). The nudity and suicide weren't inappropriate really, anyone over the age of 15 should be able to view this sort of thing without being shocked. Then again, anyone over the age of 15 is left thinking 'So he fucked another woman. Dump him and move on, what's with the emo crap?'

The girl is right about the age of 15. Maybe she hasn't got used to being fucked and thrown away yet?
However, I must admit, I first made emo crap and was happy with it and only then added "the cause". Early viewers asked for a reason for the whole commotion.

On the whole I thought it was quite good, but some of the scene selection is odd and not used to maximum dramatic impact - there's both overdramatization of her sitting in the shower and under-dramatization of the rather graphic sex scenes you have. And between those two, you really don't develop the character much or give context for her to be sympathised with. The flow between less dramatic and more dramatic segments never develops, so the video keeps an almost constant mood, pace and character instead of varying and developing it. It ends up being rather confused/confusing.

So basically there was room for this video to be much more effective than it was, to be more a story and have more character than a turning to a disturbing slice that it turned out to be. But as such it's not bad at all and I like the overall look of it.
