Um,I'm sorry but I still have no idea what you're talking about :( Perhaps you could show me a screenie?
The hazy/cloudy white effect used on some of the scenes. The sequence from about 1:36-1:40 is one of the times it shows up.
Oh! I know what you're talking about now.Yeah it is kinda noticeable,I wanted those clips to stand out as memories but maybe I did overdo it a bit...

x2

Trailers are a difficult subject though. Convey a theme but dont give away the overall concept. By the way though, lower the ambience music more durring times they are talking or there is FX plz next time :|.

All so... WHY ARE THERE NO OTHER CHARACTER INTRODUCTIONS?! Even if you only do it briefly, like a quick screenshot of em posed and their name listed or something, they are supporting roles yes but a few of them had ALOT of show time and deserve attention for a trailer. I'm guessing if you spent a little more time on them as well you wouldn't of given away the whole storyline in the trailer.

Overall trailers like these just work better if there is a narrator voice that introduces characters and says certain things IMO. This way you don't rely so much on audio from the show and spoil things.
You mean like add Minori and the others instead of just Taiga and Ryuji?

Thanks! :D
BurningLeaves wrote:I completely agree that there are too many spoilers in this to really constitute as a 'trailer' it would be like a movie preview that showed you the ending.. there really wouldn't be a point to go and see the movie after that.. But you listed spoilers on the vid so theres really no problem there. I really liked this, I thought you did great. I've never quite seen anything quite like this, it doesn't work so much as a trailer or preview but as a series summery it's great. Good scene choices, I thought the background audio worked really well and you timed things nicely.

This silly Tiger X Dragon thing explains why I wasn't able to find any Toradora videos in the super search.. I really think it needs to be changed, or at least made into Toradora! (Tiger X Dragon) Everyone who knows this show, including ANN refers to it as Toradora, leaving it as is would just be confusing.
Yeah, the Tiger x Dragon thing confused me for a bit.I only clicked on after the episode where he refers himself to a dragon

EDIT: I'm pretty convinced now to finish this show :P
I know a lot of people are gna flame me for this one, but J.C. Staff really screwed the pooch for this one. Terribad script writing on the 2nd to last episode. So bad, it made the entire awesomeness of the series go down the drain.

If anyone else feels the same, that the 2nd to last episode was nothing but 'ODD', let me know. I don't wanna feel like the odd man out.

But keep things on topic,...

The trailer was good.
i'd say the last third of it was better than the first two thirds.
1:19 to end was nice. the voice overs- were will timed.

Actually I agree... but they do that with so many animes I've really come to expect them to screw up the ending if it's going well... In fact I can count more animes which ending killed the series (or had no ending) than the ones with good endings.... but this has nothing to do with this video... which, to reiterate while keeping on topic... was awesomesauce

Great amv, definitely up to Toradora's nature and climax.
It was damn nice to watch a home-made trailer instead of taking the song from a movie trailer and just try lipsynching and editing based on that.

This anime is great because it's a complete role reversal of the typical anime scheme... The loli's aren't so 'loli' and the guy that looks like a tuff yakuzza guy... well just watch it =p Or watch this video instead, it does a great job of summing it up.

If I hadn't already watched the show and put it on my top 10, I would be watching it right now.

This video is full of win. 5/5
