it's really refreshing to hear obligatory criticisms instead of actual constructive advice. :nono:
I am strictly stating my opinion. If I feel the need to be constructive I'll do so. However I at this moment in time I do not feel the need to do so. Thus in turn your preaching falls on deaf ears.

:nono: Tsk tsk..
Niotex wrote: Fast editing doesn't equal good editing. You could have been a lot more creative with the way you synced things. A phrase often associated with Celldweller and their label FiXT is "Lifes a Glitch". This is heavily reflected across all the artists associated with FiXT. That alone should give you an idea of what is lacking from the video. You could have put any "fast paced" song with the same BPM under this and it would "work". Reason being that it isn't edited specifically enough to this piece of audio. You're completely missing the texture and flavor of the audio that should make this a whole. Its hard to explain but its simply not there and thus feels completely bland and mediocre.
Sorry Rider4z (you know I love you ~_~) but Nio~ is correct. The song demands moar. As Nio~ stated..the video is missing the texture and flavor of the audio. When I hear the audio, I think of futuristic elements, crazy use of color correction (preferably blue), grudge textures, and a bunch of crazy eye candy futuristic effects (like twitch[Z] :P ) but that just me :amv: . The video really isn't anything new, as far as amvs go. Thus it makes it a mediocre amv to some people.

I convinced my subconscious that there will never be a [GOOD] , not even [DECENT] amv made using this audio source [Celldweller - Switchback]. I stand corrected.

The video was very well edited  . Props on that. and Congrats on the awards.

Also, I noticed your new banner Rider4z, looks interesting. :P

Btw..Everything stated above was referring to the Switchback video, not the Dying Will video, Just thought I might point that out

Could you please for the love of all that is holy stop munching my dick? It is not that you give bad head as you seem quite eager. Thing is I just don't swing that way. Your recommendations are completely rubbish in the sense that if she were to follow them, her video would look exactly like every other wannabe "cyber grudge" video. And in turn it would completely defeat the point of what I'm getting at. Setting yourself apart from the cesspool that is Riotgear/Twitch is key. Along with that [RANDOMLY] enlarged text is a major [TURNOFF] and makes you look neither cool nor witty. Unless of course it was used in form of sarcasm, but that's just me :amv:

yes!!!, that would be soooo cool, sugoi!

now that all of us are under the duty of reaching that "level"

*sarcasm mode off*

really man?, just because the vid is not full of fx, it automatically make it a "lower" vid, thats so... :nono:

if one vid is totally full of fx and the other one without them, that make´em totally different and completely imposible to compare, it´s like trying to compare Chill Out with Salsa, or Harry Potter against Hamlet.
SING! Never mind the words!!!

If my first video was not a big "FUCK YOU" to you then I dont know what was.

I did not recommend anything, I merely stated what I think about when I hear the audio source used. Why dont you use this audio source to come out of retirement and show me [HOW ITS DONE]

So your judging on how I type?.. No one here suggested I wanted to be cool nor witty. Get those ideas out of your head

can i ask why you're continuing to reply to this thread at all?

you've made your opinion very clear and you're very insistant on have the right to say so, yet you're completely repelling anyone else who says otherwise or differently. do we not have the right to disagree? would that not be our opinions?

your rude and slanderizing comments are not needed or wanted anymore i'm sure by anyone, expecially Kaze. and you're continuing to post here is only making you look more and more like you're trying to force everyone to oblige to your opinion.

it's obnoxious to keep replying to people who are trying to be constructive in their criticism and slanderizing them for their respectful words.

This thread is hilarious and full of circle jerking.
I am very amused.

Also, sorry, I basically agree with Niotex about the Switchback video. Was pretty mediocre...Nothing new to see.

OM NOM NOM NOM.

Not to be a dick muncher, but I agree with niotex. It's not edited badly, but it's missing the feel of the song, effects or not.

I do appreciate everyone's opinion. But I really don't understand how I missed the "feeling" of the song. I edited it how I felt it should be edited. I am all about simple editing and internal syncing, that's how I edit. I am also not a very effecty person.

Can anyone care to elaborate just what exactly is the song's "feeling"? Whether it's lyric sync, beat sync, flow or all of these, I think I did a pretty good job for the most part in all of those aspects. I try my hardest to follow these aspects in the best way I can, despite my disability. My disability is...I can barely hear the song at all due to being almost deaf. So I would like to read what everyone's point is about the song's "feeling." If I can know that, then I can try to put it into my next amv. I am still practicing, after all.
