Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

it's really refreshing to hear obligatory criticisms instead of actual constructive advice. :nono:

I am strictly stating my opinion. If I feel the need to be constructive I'll do so. However I at this moment in time I do not feel the need to do so. Thus in turn your preaching falls on deaf ears.

:nono: Tsk tsk..

How am I a bitch for stating my honest and sincere opinion? I felt massive discomfort when watching this video at the convention. This hasn't changed at all while watching it here. Its as simple as that. Suck it up and deal with it.

And for the love of god stop jerking the guy off.

Whoa, now, guys.

I expected not everyone to like my vid. =/
I appreciate both the honesty and the defending, Rider, Niotex. Let's not turn this thread into a bloodfest. XD

But I do agree with Rider just a bit. Niotex, if there's a way I could have made my amv any better, I would like to hear your opinion about it. I edited it the way I thought it would match, since I thought fast pace song = fast pace editing. =/

(PS, Im a girl. XDD)

great! now i can fall in love with you, wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!

btw nothing like a good bullet synch (Hell yeah!), this video is really intense and enjoyable to watch, just keep it up!

but I really don't like dying will, because for me, this song is enough as to make something more than just a plain action vid :p
SING! Never mind the words!!!

Who said I was out for blood?

Fast editing doesn't equal good editing. You could have been a lot more creative with the way you synced things. A phrase often associated with Celldweller and their label FiXT is "Lifes a Glitch". This is heavily reflected across all the artists associated with FiXT. That alone should give you an idea of what is lacking from the video. You could have put any "fast paced" song with the same BPM under this and it would "work". Reason being that it isn't edited specifically enough to this piece of audio. You're completely missing the texture and flavor of the audio that should make this a whole. Its hard to explain but its simply not there and thus feels completely bland and mediocre.

Circle jerking still applies, if only in a somewhat more enticing form.
