That's full of win. I've been contemplating donating my pubic hair to make wigs for people with cancer. Maybe Hiseo should do the same for Misha?LivingFlame wrote:Quoted Image converted to link:

It's hard enough correcting you in RL.
You really suck with Japanese names don't you?

I'm sorry Mr. Otaku, but I'm not over obsessed with the Japanese culture like you are. I am Canadian and therefore have no need to learn such things.

My favorite is Lilly, if I have not emphasized that enough. Did I spell that right?

She has a nigh-uncontrollable urge to be loud, and she's learned to turn it into laughter, but it's at the level where she can't function normally. They paired her with Shizune because Misha can be as loud as she wants and it won't bother Shizune a bit. Same way they paired Emi with Rin to get a complete set of limbs between them. And Hanako with Lilly because one girl has horrible problems with being around people because she thinks they're all thinking about how ugly she is, but can feel safe with someone who doesn't see those "ugly" (that is, highly attractive) burns.
I figured that Misha's pronunciation had nothing to do with her disability, seeing as how it was only difficult words she had problems with and not every other sentence. Although, I did not realize it was her loudness that was the reason for her being there but it should have been obvious seeing as she definitely lacked volume control.
Well, Rin, followed by Hanako and then Lilly as my top 3.

That's actually somewhat offending. That doesn't sound like something that would come from a Canadian, more like an ethnocentric American.jadecavy wrote:I'm sorry Mr. Otaku, but I'm not over obsessed with the Japanese culture like you are. Mine is the opposite;「ijexis」 wrote:Well, Rin, followed by Hanako and then Lilly as my top 3.
Lilly, Hanako and then Rin. I really like all the characters, though. Except maybe for Misha. Shizune would be higher up if it weren't for Misha.
My point is, that I'm of early European descent. I would much rather visit England than Japan, no matter how much I enjoy the Games or Anime that comes out of there. You are from BC. I am from Ontario. We get a completely different culture range here. We get far more Europeans and East-Asians than we do West-Asians. If I lived in BC, I might have said the same thing about Europe. I was not insulting the country in any way. I'm not racist, except towards the Welsh, which is OK because most of my family on my father's side comes from Wales. I'm just as much Welsh and British as I am Canadian. Anyways, enough Grammbling! (Lol reference) It was more of a half-assed insult towards you. And believe me, you've heard worse come out of my mouth!hasteroth wrote:That's actually somewhat offending. I have ZERO Asian blood. I am French, Norwegian, First Nations, Dutch, and Swedish. But my point is. GET THE NAMES RIGHT. This is the internet, you're dealing with people from all over the world, be they, Japanese, American, Canadian, Australian, German, British, etc. So if you're going to play a game with Japanese names or watch anime, try to get them right.jadecavy wrote:Mine is the opposite;「ijexis」 wrote:Well, Rin, followed by Hanako and then Lilly as my top 3.

I did try and get it right... I even Googled it and it came up with the official forums with someone who had typed it that way.hasteroth wrote:GET THE NAMES RIGHT. Anyways, we're off topic.
