acturally worry about vid quality, but once your at the norm anything else is gravy. Some of the best editors don't even clean their clips.

well problem with editing This video ofr subtitles is... Its Macross. all the songs are translated as well. and they are all over the place. SO to edit out the subtitles would create alot of chopped up videos IMO and truely look like crap

If you spend hours upon hours working on a video and put everything into making it awesome, why would you half-ass anything... let alone the most objective and straightforward portion of editing a video.

This is why you use a source that doesn't have the subs hard-coded on the video.

There are Macross videos out there with tons of singing that avoid this problem. I presume by using DVD sources.

To be fair Macross raws are surprisingly hard to find btw. But yeah, they're out there o.0 and even the songs wouldn't be translated by the raws. We want to encourage dvd use though, but as Macross isn't localized (yet) *shrug*.

not that hard to find actually if you know where to look. theres a batch torrent floating around. Possibly might be harder to find now since its been out for a while, and raws don;t tend to keep their seeders. but you can find the MKVs and just disable the subs. the MKVs should still be available. you would have to use AVIsynth to read it in virtualdub by using the Directshowsource() or ffdshowsource() open methods.

If you have not already, I recomend reading through the version3 guides in the help forum maintained by Zarxrax.

Well I'd have to say if the only complaints about the video are the quality (which was good Post render) the Subtitles and the length then I made a freakin awesome video
