Berserk, Iced Earth, and 420,000 Gallons of Blood

Post by DarkXPower » Wed May 06, 2009 9:28 am

When I originally made this AMV back in 2000, I used subtitled footage and had to work around the subs. Not only that, I stayed away from most of the ending because it was too big of a spoiler at the time to put into an AMV. This time I went crazy with it...I changed about 70-80% of the video...Its timed much better, and shows the darker side of the series...

I totally remember this video, even before I saw Berserk.

Which is exactly why the original didn't have any spoilers...and why this one is so much better.

I'm use to calling it beat matching, but internal sync makes more sense...I only used cross fades and razor tool making this video...maybe I should start attempting some effects...but I wouldn't even know where to start, sigh...anyway, glad you enjoyed it.

Pretty good video. Most of the end grabbed my attention, the rest not as much. Good basic beat sync.

No over filtering but also no visible clean up at all.

When you say a video is good, I feel obligated to check it out because you seem like one of the most critical reviewers on this site. Though you gave this video an absolute perfect.. maybe your just an old school amv lover.

You only enjoyed the ending with guts going crazy on the demons? or by end, you mean the second half where griffith spreads his wings and the flow of the video changes? Just curious what you mean
