Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Awesome. Doing the test download now.

Edit: Erm wait... but was I supposed to do that. Since I probably shouldn't upload it on to here...

Just watched it, nothing too bad. Nudity levels are fine, the scene at 3:04 would be... questionable. but given it's 3 second clip in a 7 minute amv, I doubt anyone would make too much of a fuss. You may want to ask a mod if you feel like it.

As for the amv itself, subs not withstanding it wasn't too bad. I could get the gist of the story well enough. but the video quality and excruciatingly slow "string-of-scenes" style editing were a huge problem with this. I suggest watching some other videos around here (from our top 10% for example) to get an idea of the scope of the amvs here, and to inspire your own ideas,

Also, subtitles in an amv are considered very bad form. :nono:

I hope you enjoy whatever time you spend here at the org.

Well, it was meant to be slow. It's a slow and peaceful song.

Anyway, that's a relief to it probably is ok. Thanks.

Soo ya! It's here. Elfen Lied fans, by all means have a look and tell us what you think.

It is there. In the members main page. It's very easy to find, all you need to search for is "Elfen Lied" and "Gilmour" cos no one has done an amv using his songs. :D

The vidid tags make doing that easy.

Also, "slow" probably wasn't the word I was looking for, cause you're correct about the song. More like boring, no offense intended of course.

DOH! >_< Now I look stupid. K thanks... I'll be sure to remember that next time.

Ehh.. that doesn't how lotta sense, what you said. Are you saying it's boring because it's slow? Like, what else could have been done then. To be honest, I feel it would have ruined to make it any faster. I don't really see where you're coming from.

you should edit your first post to include the video download so people dont need to look for it. That spot on the main page is for new amvs. Someone will soon upload something and it will no longer be there.
