What's with all the whining about the song? I personally think it's one of Machinae's best.
Awesome editing and blending of effects. Nothing to obtrusive. A shame the song cut off so abruptly.
5/5

I agree with ~MimS~ that this isn't really the definitive TTGL video, but this is still seriously awsmcore.
PS. loved the song.

This vid is Epic above anything else and has tons of "manly drive" in it. 5/5.

Great sources. This sounds very promising. I'll leave some lines here via edit later.
Ah, well watching the video made me remember why I didn't buy the new MS album, I just didn't like most of the songs. Still the sources were used convincingly and the video was a blast to watch, still it smacked of the band slowly going down the wrong path. Anyway. This is the type of video I'd edit with Gurren Lagann and one I've always wanted to see since beside this one Pilot in the Sky of Dreams is the only good Gurren Lagann video out there. There are only some things that really kept me from falling for it completely. First of all you sometimes had to much of editing in the rather slow passages (I know it sounds funny coming from me) like the rather midtempo'ed chorus which seemed to be overflowing with editingpower so the atmosphere didn't really get convey visually in order to support the music in a way I'd expected it at least in the last 2 repititions of it. And well, somehow I might sound nitpicky now but I somehow didn't get the overall sceneselection idea. First you focused on Nia and then went on to an overall plot summary and then coming back to Nia, and the song didn't really relate the to the overall idea, or I just didn't get it. These are all things that don't really make such a big difference but I thought I'd mention them. Overall I gave this video 4 stars since there were still those minor things keeping me from the 5. But I must say you're becoming one of my fav editors. I loved Confused Memories and Milt of May, and now you released this one so thanks alot for the awesome enterainment.

I agree with WarHeart about the scene selection part, but other than that, it was brutal!

Re: You Are Not Alone - TTGL \ Machinae Supremacy
This was definitely an enjoyable video. Fun to watch, I am a fan of both the audio and video sources, and overall it was very well put together. I don't have much else to add that hasn't been said, Warheart linked me to this and I agree with most of his comments, and I'm glad he pointed this out to me.
Keep it up.
