Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

in that case, if what JaddziaDax says is right.... I'm sure someone else gave the link, but here it is again ;)

Just start off with the sections about aspect ratios - and determine what your source footage was, and how it needs to be altered to for a desktop computer which has square pixels (TVs have rectangular pixels, so it's not immediately transferable)

Fixed. The old version is just too old. Beta version is more recent and better.
Also, for the mp4 encoding, get the latest zarx264gui from here: http://zarxrax.kicks-ass.net/

Eh, it has potential with lots of work. Without reading the other replies I'm pretty sure you've already been bitched at about the AR and other technical aspects so I'll leave that crap alone.

What ruined the video for me was your pacing. You did a decent job of following the musics high points. The problem is you made the slow points entirely too slow. There's nothing wrong with changing the pacing as the song dictates but going to a slower pacing should not mean you destroy the pacing entirely. As it is you build up energy during the high points then showed us several seconds of a girl standing on a tower not moving at all or other similar scenes. Which meant next time you hit a high point you had to build up energy from nothing all over again. Next time you do a dance video I suggest making sure the slower parts of the song still have enough pacing, energy, and movement to carry the flow.

Also lyric sync is not required as much as you do it. Sure, it's nice to have, but it's more important to keep the energy up than it is to follow the lyrics exactly. At least for dance videos.

So overall if viewed as your first video it's pretty decent and shows potential. If viewed as anything other than a first video it's rather meh
