Thanks for the comments so far guys.
We're gonna take turns responding (I hope ) so I'll just pinpoint some things beforehand.

The project began on msn and it was meant to be a fun project after all those bday amvs we've made one to another.It wasn't an attempt at making a super cool amv full of effects and masking or with a deep meaning.Simple stuff,no theme,little to no effects.

We picked up 15-20 anime sources each according to what we had on dvds,hdd and what we could find.That's why the sequences are totally heterogenous.
Also,it's not an amv about magical girls,only Steven used them too much.

The name choice was arguably the most difficult one.We must have come with over 100 different names (illumination, various names of flowers, names relevant to lighting, fighting moves from video games, etc.) but we weren't pleased with any of them and finally ended up choosing this one.I'd prefer something like Crazy Senioritas but anyway...

Concerning repetitiveness,I don't think that's the case as each one edited his segment in a different way.We all resorted to speeding up our footage as the song is ultra fast and there are no transitions between the sequences simply because we all used the same song...

basically, like with all dance videos it comes down to love it or hate it. Sometimes people demand a lot more from vids but I get that you guys were just doing a fun dance vid and you achieved that.

It's totally understandable (and expected from me at least) that there was going to be a large number of people that wouldn't like this video. To be completely honest with you, there came a time where I started to not like that video too much, but it went away after a few watches. I'd call it a 'love it or hate it' amv.

This did come with a good learning experience though. I found out that the more I tweaked certain parts of my track, I started to find it 'slower', so you probably know what happened then.

Effects? Sorry to disappoint you, but that definitely wouldn't be from me, I'm not really an effects person. But what I like most from this was that there were three different tracks that were created with pretty much the same lyrics all the way through. Yes, I can see a different editing style in each track, but I really think only the three crazy editors who made this video would be able to. To everyone else, it probably either looks the same throughout or a gigantic mess of scenes.

As for this video being classified with magical girls, that is certainly my fault, I'll take the blame
