AMV Challenge! Two vids. Same footage/song, different
Attagirljr and I had a challenge last night...for twelve hours straight we worked on a video. Same footage. Same song. Two different takes. Just inviting people to give them a look and help us proclaim an unofficial winner from you fine org people..

Re: AMV Challenge! Two vids. Same footage/song, different
Well, I can say with certainty that I believe attagirljr is the winner, so that's my vote!
"The Three Rings of Kodocha" was decent, had a few fun scenes, but overall it wandered too far away from the theme and atmosphere of the song. While the whole song was fun-loving and upbeat, there were too many scenes that were dragged out and story-related and not enough about just performing/dancing. Crying and hugging and talking to people didn't complement the song well enough and would belong more in a drama video. 2.5/5, rounded to 3/5
"Sanas Circus" was great. Lots more scene changes, and the scenes chosen were far more fitting for the subject matter and song's energy. Far more examples of dancing and hyperness and fun. The first "When I crack that whip" was priiiiiceless! (though all instances of such were good too). Heck, the scenes were very well chosen in terms of not only the energy, but also lyric-sync, either literally or figuratively, and there's even action-sync which I always adore. So, excellent effort and well thought-out. 5/5

Kodocha! Awsmcore!
Both of them were good, but i think I prefer Sana's Circus a bit more.
Regardless, 4/5 on both

Both were really cute! I did like Sana's Circus better.

Wow, dude, do you ever offer ANY constructive criticism? Since you seem to think nearly every video you comment on is trash, why don't you explain what is bad about them, and suggest ways to improve them? Enlighten us, oh Russian guru of AMV knowledge.

1) Look when MishaGirl has joined.ArashinomeAMV wrote:Wow, dude, do you ever offer ANY constructive criticism? 2) Look this video.
In this case it is impossible to name absence of sync and elementary editing an error of the beginner. The author did not try at all. It is disrespect for the spectator. It is trash.
