Ok, you can say, that possibly in anime Lelouch is main character, so theorically he should be the good guy, right? Which of course is the Batman in trailer. Propably right, but Zero's obcession to make world better in my opinion made him to little craziness..In my opinion he crossed the line. It's like Death Note and Yagami Light. Is he a good guy, or a bad guy? The only thing that matters is your way of thinking...
Besides you should'nt watch to amv's trailers, as the history of the original movie, because many amv creators are creating new history. SO if you're not agree with my first explanation, look at this amv trailer as new story... Laughing Zero, very sure of his rights, trying to make a little chaos, for his own dreams, and Suzaku who wants to stop him, but dont exactly now how to do it, and what part he should play in this fight.

Im not saying the characters themselves did not fit their roles. You did fairly well in assigning people if your considering their positions in the plot alone.

Its just, oh god, the voices dont match the characters in the slightest! The animation of Code Geass is far too colorful for The Dark Knight. It throws off the whole feel of the trailer. It's meant to be dark and thrilling. The thrilling can be accomplished, but unless you use some editing to darken it, Code Geass cannot work.

Lelouch I complain about the least. It can kind of fit. Celile is fine as well.
Suzaku saying "Where are they?" in Batman's voice was like listening to a small child say it to you. Except its not funny.
The Emperor cannot in any shape or form play Alfred. A towering muscular figure reduced to the role of the friendly butler? I would have chosen Lloyd. Speaking of...
Lloyd as Fox? COME ON. I really can't think of someone else who would fit Fox's voice, but Lloyd? Fabulous Lloyd with his pale skin, blue eyes, slender figure and bright grey hair has been given the voice of MORGAN FREEMAN. WHAT THE FUCK.

This is a dubbing voicecastor's nightmare.

I don't know, I thnk it's not that bad (the dub and choosing voices to the anime characters). But as a creator I can see it different than viewers. Thx for opinion.

Sweet trailer in all general. And about the characters not fitting their given roles... Bullshit
Awesome setting and really good mood. Some parts didn't fit as perfect like others ("It's all a part of the plan" part was fabulous!) But in all general, I really liked it. A solid video
