  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

You destroyed, no, you absolutely murdered one of my favourite songs of all time.

I swear to God, If I stood right in front of you, I'd :nono:
i was only the other day speculating on whether you are really all cuddles and teddy bears in real life. i'm kind of beginning to lean towards the 'kev is a total dick' hypothesis.

edit:

video was fun, but the camera moves seemed really twitchy and uncontrolled, there's no depth either (especially at 45s, what's up with that?), it never 'looks' like more than 2d layers and a camera fizzing along, i think it would be greatly improved if you worked on the newspapers to make them look a bit more paper-like. paper has loads of texture up close, so does newsprint. i like the low framerate action O:

so basically you want him to lie?

it's not like the positive criticism in this thread was very deep and thoughtful, so why the heck should negative criticism have to be.

Gidra himself doesn't really hold back on that over here either.

It was enjoyable, but it had some big problems. far too much focus on the text, the parts where you just did straight baccano were best. As blabbler said the camera is far to erratic. There was several times where the scenes had no relation to... anything. Also, slight grammer problem. it should be "Rumble in NY", not rumble in the NY. Other than that however, the action scenes went pretty well. And the frame skip thing you did alot was quite interesting.

x2

I liked the editing in general, but Ingow pretty much summed up what I thought.

Ingow wrote:So basically you just copied every effect/style method that has already been successful in a russian AMV in the past, put them all into one video and that's supposed to make it good, right?

most obvious one:

changing the good old comic/manga effect to a newspaper also doesn't really make a difference.
