Almost none of the previous Akrosscon winners (Evilspider, Ukms[z], _Tayo_, Darius:GQ and so on) submitted anything this year |:
This years standards are lower than I've ever seen in akross before.

Almost each year Across has new winners, new names on AMV scene. This year contest was bigger and there are many really unique AMVs like previous years as well. I don't think it weaker than Akross Con 2007.
