Hibiki's Double Pleasure [Finally Done!!!]
This is something I decided to put together, as I love the song, sooo, much.
-Story-
At the beginning, it's the celebration of a party. Hibiki has just had a big fight with Dita and ran away from her. Then, he has a change of heart, and breaks into the ship to get to her. He hacks into the ships computers, and plays the Music Video of the song that is used in this AMV to distract the guards and personnel on board the ship. He then get's to where he needs to go, thanks to a modified hand-print, and has an awesome night with Dita. Then, it's pretty much the end of the story from there, and the video kicks off into the random fun stuff.
-Other Things-
I tried to keep and stick with what I was originally intending to do with this video, and I felt I did a decent job. I tried to make the quality as best as I could.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this video.

Sorry for the double post.
I forgot to mention that despite all the masking and editing time put into this, I had a lot of fun making this video, so, I hope you all have a fun time watching it.
Also, on a side note, this is my Official End Of Summer AMV. Which marks for me, my official 2 years editing, and my 49th AMV. Enjoy.

The only parts of the video I seriously liked was the parts from the official music video. I have a lot of complaints on this video which would be:
- Visual Quality
- Use of Live-action
- Combination
- General editing
Quality was blurry and would need some real cleaning. My biggest advise would be get your hands on the DVD footage of it.
The use of LA in this video (in this case the official MV) wasn't well and was placed out randomly in no original way at all. We've seen the officials playing on walls and big wall covering monitors way too many times. Also the way the anime looks together with the LA didn't work at all in my eyes. First of you would have needed to build up the same color tone as the LA footage, which would be some nice dark brownish tone mixed with some yellow glow. And you'd also need to use more fitting scenes to transition between the sources with.
The song and anime just didn't work, at least not the way you edited it and with the scenes you chose. The atmosphere and mood was never once right in the video and the lyrics never fit with it either. As stated before the only parts that seemed to meet up to the songs atmosphere and mood was the LA parts.
The editing in general was something I couldn't seem to enjoy. There was cut's that just seemed to placed out of random, like suddenly going into a streak of beat syncing cut's then suddenly stop having long scenes while the songs music remains the same. The cut's and scene selection was the main things that didn't make sense to me, You said after 40 seconds you wanted to put in random happy stuff? Just to inform you if you didn't know; It's a romance song, a romance song that calls for more deep scenes with a addition of drama in it.
You wanted to do random fun stuff you should have picked a happy upbeat song and it might have worked better.
Using better (lyric and mood wise) fitting scenes will also make the video more flowing. But to make it flow properly with a song like this you shouldn't focus too much on the beats but on the pace and mood.
So to sum up the main problems:
Bad, blurry visual quality. Bad, unoriginal use off footage from the songs official music video. No connection between song and footage. Random cut's, bad flow, bad scene selection, bad concept.
That's my thoughts of this video, I'm sorry but this will not stay on my hard drive.
Good luck on future videos.

I just didn't find a real connection with the anime and the song. The first part of the amv was a real turn off. No story. Just running around. And chris brown being in there was just plain weird. But I will say the color pellate of CB music video and the anime worked well. It looked pretty, but yea made zero sense.

You have the potential ... but you do not work with love, no matter how long it will last you, you have to do the job well ... (It was a lesson that I learned, thanks to Niotex)TwilightChrono wrote:Well, I thought I did pretty good on this one. Thanks for supplying your opinions. Also, could you tell me what things you did and did not like? It would help me out, if you would please do so.
About what I liked, I agree very much with Zetzu, is:
Visual quality
Selection of scenes
LA
Execution and combination
Edition
Use of Masks
Consepto
Are factors that you can improve, making it more with love! (Exprecion latina)
