This amv started out as a boredom beta, but I kept working on it, and surprisingly got it done. It's a fan made opening for death notes on, Maximum Hormone- Zetsubou Billy, which was used in ending of the second season of Death Note. I've always wanted to edit on this song since I first heard it, but never really got around to it, so I've been wanting to edit on this song for quite some time now, and even though, it's not a full amv, I'm still satisfied with the outcome of it.
The majority of the amv is just raw edited, I didn't go for any kind of effects or anything, though I did use some flashes here, and there couple of times to keep things interesting. Well, i hope you guys will enjoy it.

Meh. Typical Death Note Video. :O

Fuze did the same combo, and I think it was more compelling and better edited than this, but this one had its own moments.

The sync was there and it was obvious, although it went off the train tracks at some times. Such as the scene with Ryuk dancing and Kira/L playing tennis. Those scenes didn't really fit well. Oh, and the audio cut was way too abrupt. :O

Still, it was ok.

First off, thanks for taking the time to comment, cuz I've been waiting to see some, but it seems no one was interested. Anyways, yea I'm sure it wasn't as compelling, and well edited as fuzz work, but then again, given the time that it was done around, I wouldn't really compare it next to his work. Like I said, it was something I started with no intentions of completing, but I started having so much fun with it, that I ended up completing it anyways.

Also, it's mostly raw edited cuz I was only going for flow here. It might have stood out a little more if I had added some effects, but this was a attempt to create a opening for Death note, so I wanted to keep it simple.

Now about the clips that you thought didn't quite went well, I'll explain their purpose of being used. Usually, opening have clips that express what the anime is all about, you can call them hints and such that are given to the viewer about the anime. Though, the clip with, Ryuk, dancing was random, but it can be taken from the perspective of him enjoying himself, while light and L are battling with their lives at stake, and all the chaos that death note caused to the human world. This clip was originally used in opening of the second season, and I believe that's what they were trying to show here.

The same goes for the tennis clip, it shows Light, and L trying out outwit one another, which basically sums of the whole anime. well, thanks for your thoughts, and I'd like to hear other comments, too, so please guys do comment if you have the time to, I'll appreciate it.

I must say scene selection wasn't so bad as for alternative opening but semehow i felt this more like a trailer than an opening wchich doesn't mean bad:P.
