Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

decided not to edit my first post.
anyway, great stuff ingo, you know most of it already anyway.
no real high or low points, constant and consistent flow throughout the whole video which works very well in this amv.
the editing isn't overstylisized and indeed back to the basics. the idea with the overlays was great, maybe you should've tweaked a motion blur and some cooler edges in there, but that is about the only, very slight critic point.
one of the three amvs this year that I was able to watch without skipping. good job O:

It was kinda average for me in terms of editing O.o The whole concept relied too much on the coolness and gore factor anyway, and the not-so-fancy sync and somewhat dysfunctional flow didn't quite keep up with it.
However, I'm biased, violence is bullshit so this video just basically pissed me off, which I guess couldn't matter less. Nothing really "constructive" from me this time.
3/5

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Though there's one quick comment I still have to address, since there was a rather civil one in between the pile of those that just simply said "Fuck Rap":
Yeah, dude, newsflash:QC wrote:...because someone has to say the music sucks. Actually, it wasn't that bad, but the attitude behind it is rather irritating; Irritating in the same way that some black people think they have to act differently simply because they are black... which is totally wrong, and is a product of society... It carries over into the music, which is kindof the opposite of what most music tries to achieve. Sure, it's something different, but we all know that constructions of society are empty. So I wouldn't buy into Rap, simply for the realization that finding anything decent is quite unlikely. It's true that some Rap is good, but that's because people growing up in this society (realizing that Rap is empty) latch onto their culture and improve upon it, while still incorporating Rap into their music, in order to maintain that connection to popular mindset. For whatever reason they do this, I don't know. But anyways, IMO, the possibility of finding good music in genres that break free of such notions is much higher, and I sincerely hope you haven't wasted too much effort sifting through the masses of junk, when you could find better music easier elsewhere.... And yes, this qc completely about the music, and nothing about the video... it was good 4/5 /qc's are a good outlet sometimes :|

And I find it funny that whenever someone argues about this they never tend to leave their own top 10 artists. Now you COULD be someone that only listens to classic or jazz, or you could be someone with a playlist full of fucking Radiohead and NIN. So excuse me if I have no idea how much I can really buy of your entire statement. Because y'know, mindsets in music that "think they have to act different" seldom actually have anything to do with the color of your skin. A lot of musical retards did that no matter what color they were. The best rapper on the track in this video is btw white. Just to let you know.
Actually after re-reading your qc over and over I doubt that you even had anything going there, all of the sentences seem pretty empty to me. Or can anyone else maybe help me decipher what he actually was aiming for?

Well, somehow an unpleasant feeling was spreading in my stomach while watching this, must be the song.
The editing was pretty simple, well "back to the basics" it surely was, and some of the scenes seemed kind of random to me. The overlays were a nice idea, still a few more would've been nice for a bit more variety. All in all just a 3/5 from me, somehow this video wasn't really doing it for me. Sorry.
