-I'd agree with that. Overplaying a song doesn't make it bad. It just wears out it's welcome. Like a houseguest that refuses to leave, and keeps telling the same jokes over and over.SS5_Majin_Bebi wrote:those were some good points Chaos Angel, and i wasnt tryin to b rude, it just burns me that people think overuse equals bad quality.
-Well, if I had to guess, I'd say that the reason there are a lot of Linkin Park videos is due to the amount of people who listen to the band. I don't think Linkin Park is necessarily good or bad for MVs. It's just another song choice. Just happens that this song choice has been used so much, people are sick of hearing the songs. It's like when you're driving, and the station plays the same god-damn song every fifteen minutes or so. It may not be a bad song, per se, but you may grow sick of it from hearing it so much. That's why I stopped liking Linkin Park. I heard them so much, I got sick of them. Same with Limp Bizkit. No, wait... I NEVER liked Limp Bizkit.SS5_Majin_Bebi wrote:I mean, the question has to b asked, if LP are so unlikable in relation to AMV's, why does everyone (generalisation) use them?

My philosophy: Make whatever the hell you want. Go with whatever idea pops into your head. Have fun with it. I mean, who do you make videos for, other people or yourself? Unless you are video editting as a career, as I am thinking of doing when I get out of college (shameless plug), then the answer isn't other people. It's yourself. Your videos are expressions of yourself. If that includes Linkin Park, so be it.
