  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I can dig this, since I followed the Amiga demoscene, and made one myself. (yes it had a cube ;)) I like how you compiled anime scenes that look like stuff from demos.

I haven't followed the PC demoscene very well but .the .product is a classic 64kb demo that impressed me. (pouet listing)

Well, that was a part of idea :) Demos, especially oldschool ones, were visualisations that were showing the capabilities of the machine they were running on. Nowadays it somehow changed, but if I wanted to explain it all, I would have to write a book ;)
and work on 3D is very simple...
Umm.. before I start arguing with you, please explain what exactly do you mean? ;)

inCluDe - hehe, I'm happy that you find demoscene interesting. I think I can say "mission accomplished" in your case ;)
btw. Czy 2:44-2:54 to nie jest czasem ten wzor co mial byc na koszulce amv.com.pl?
Yup :)

Turbo, dokidoki - glad to hear you were into it :) Too bad you aren't nowadays ;) Dokidoki, you made a demo? Please show me which one! :)
really great work. But where are the Animes o.O
Everywhere! Seriously, I haven't adjusted original scenes so much that they aren't recognizable... at least I think that ;) If you want, please tell me and I'll post comparison screenshots (before/after) ;)
I rly liek Pokemanz and so should you.

I think he meant screenshots ;)

Ok, here they are:

So as you can see, in most cases I basically added some filters like glow, blur, scanlines, color/brightness/contrast correction and luminace transparency (my favourite) :)
I rly liek Pokemanz and so should you.

I don't think awsm 3D was a goal. I think the main thing was to parody standard demos things like cubes, 3D-surfaces, some tunnels, numbers, pretentious writings etc. Also present some scene guys and try to use anime as main theme.
