this video delves into the mind of a yaoi fangirl or a puzzleshipping fan, hence the 'vortex' going into the background. And hence the title. you know like falling into someone's mind. that wasn't just random. and yes that's from the actual anime.

Just watched it (it ended up being a four hours IC...

Well, I didn't like it that much, but I think it was pretty ok. The background thing kind of detracted for me, felt kinda destracting and useless. Some lyric and beat sync here and there, but some unused occasions too. I think this song needed way more fades instead of the hard cuts. I seriously was fearing something more shounen-ai intense visually-wise, but hopefully (for me), it wasn't.
Theme worked out kinda well, though, I think. Imma giving this a 3/5. 
And I hope the hiatus you're taking won't be that long, heh.
