I made an AMV for my friend's girlfriend when she was flying back home.

I think he's had 2 girlfriends after her since then.

I made this video for krzT as a bday present. I like KH, but I don't think I would've been motivated enough to capture all the footage if it weren't one of her favorite games.

I've made ones dedicated to friends, or to convey inspiration, some holidays. And even ones just to show I'm depressed or how a song relates to my life at the time. AMVs can convey all sorts of messages to the public.

i had taken my favorite AMV's to my friend's party and it went over really well it was so beautiful up on the 50" large plasma screen.. auriga, magic pad, aceman's trapped, koopiskeva's twilight, metro's true fiction. I really was glad to expose people to AMV's even though they had no choice in the matter (lol)

Not a happy message but a message none the less. I could definitely see this video being played in a history classroom to humanize the experience.

I have used videos before as messages and "gifts" to online friends. I made an old "fan service" video to since this one guy couldn't get enough of Rinoa and he begged me to make him a vid with just Rino, so I used what I had, he was happy with it. Meh. I made a "emo-ish" video for someone who was having a rough time, she still watches it every now and then lol.
