Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien - White Houses

I was always told that I need to improve the technical aspects of my videos and that was a big goal for me in making this video. This video is the first video that I used DVD footage, VirtualDubMod (correctly), Avisynth, and Zarx264gui.

On the video:
This video is meant to convey the relationships between the characters. It's about the development of their characters and their relationships. Although, Mitsuki and Takayuki ended up together in the first part of the anime, I decided to go along with what happened in the "Next Season" OVA because it fit better with the song. The "First Time" part of the video conveys some of the defining moments in Haruka and Takayuki's relationship and what Takayuki considers to be his mistake.

Constructive criticism is welcome.

Thank guy07 for proposing this amv in his journal entry...^^

Anyway,I dag in this amv.You used a nice - dramatic but not sad - song, befitting the anime's nature while you managed to mix very well what's happening in the anime. As for editing, straight cuts, black fades and lots of transitions.Though not innovative,it's to my liking and for a sentimental amv,you don't need much more.

5/5 from me and a definite keeper

Thanks. I'm glad you liked it. For the most part I was just trying to keep it simple. I had a bunch of other things in it to sync to stuff but I ended up taking them out.

A Kiminozo AMV!? Yay! *Gets*

I'm even more excited now that I see that this was beautiful! I agree with Full Metal Sempai about the song choice - a lot of people tend to pick very sad songs for this anime and the song you picked definitely was emotional but not too emotional. It fit just right. :D The opening really drew me in. Your editing choices were great and fit with the mood you were trying to set. I really liked how you put things together when "White houses" was said during the chorus: you showed different buildings without getting repetitive and used scenes you don't see all that often in KGNE AMVs. The time you spent on the technical aspects really paid off - The quality is very good!

I loved this, LittleAtari! :) Fantastic work.

When I heard this song, I knew I had to do an AMV to it and this was the only anime I knew. I've only watched two other Kiminozo AMVs, so I wouldnt know what other people have put in them. I'm actually not too fond of the beginning, but it's good to see that someone likes it.

It's funny how well this turned out considering I didnt like the anime much.
