Thief? *perks up* Did someone say Thief?

So ok, that accounted for 90% of the reason I downloaded this, but I didn't regret it one bit, even though Thiefiness was sparse. lol

This was a nice idea, although in retrospect it seems a little too obvious in its faux originality. What do I mean? This is what I would expect from an AMV using this "music" and while that's not necessarily a bad thing, it's just that the entire premise of the audio is clearly to BE unexpected...and yet to me nothing in this AMV was, which is to say it was almost too comfortable a fit.

I got a lot more chuckles out of it than creep, even though there were times I really, really wanted to get the full horror treatment. The audio is what it is, though. It's a mix of several things and - as I said - the footage you added meshed really well and was never really too distracting. In fact, I was entertained more by watching what you made than by listening to what someone else made, which is a rare thing. Usually, with AMVs, the former falls short. 4/5 :)

Hrm. That's an interesting viewpoint, never thought about it that way. You could be right...

It's your call, really. I don't know what you were trying to do and I've learned the hard way to avoid speculating on that sort of thing. I did think this AMV was quite unique and fresh, just not in terms of "song" interpretation, which isn't a bad thing if you weren't focused on that as a goal.

I think about a lot of things the way other people never do, though, so don't worry about it too much. lol

If I'm not mistaken the song was inspired by the book House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski, right?

I just found this weird. I was expecting it to be somewhat like the book, but no. You did get 'some' of the aspects, the house & the stairways, everything else was just random 'dark' scenes =l

Awesome book and song, ok amv.

This video in three words:

Conet with lipsync?

But then there was lipsync in Conet too

Awesome job - I really found it a little too short to fully elaborate the mood, and some of the similarities to the above project I couldn't shake off, but it was still veary enjoyable. Not as creepy as it could've been, but quirky.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

You're not mistaken, but I didn't really try to make the video follow the plot of the book or anything. It's just random weirdness made for s & g's.

It´s strange. It should be my taste but somehow it doesn´t. I really like some parts, but some other parts I just thought "Aha, so what?". Like close to the end with the noisy cigarette scene. I think this was just a bit too random for me. Well ok it was part of the concept wich was executed fine, but that doesn´t mean that I have to like it or that completly random scenes have to go with random audio, right?

If I take Ingow´s last amv for example: Now that was set around something and had a complete and solid core with scene selection and stuff.

A lot of people consider this video here as "one of the few true horror vids". I´m not sure about it. It didn´t really scared me or creeped me because of the randomness. It definatly goes into that correction, but it´s not completly in the genre. It´s more a strange video with a dark atmosphere.

Speaking about dark things! It was too bright too cause string "horror"-feelings. I just saw too much of the scenes. There wasn´t the voice in my head that keept me guessing wich horrible things there might were on the screen or wich things might hide in the darkness of a scenary. Or there could be a stronger work with more dark colour schemas.

Am I too subjective? Well I think so at the last part of my comment, but I try to be more objective with my rate:

4.15/5
-> some things are well done and overall it´s not bad.
