After the fact anime (only liked AFTER you watched em)

The first season of "When They Cry" was up and down for me. I liked it a lot at first. Then it hit the first arc change and I was like "o.O;" It was such a system shock at the time that I just started thinking, "what the hell, this is stupid." But I kept watching anyway. Glad I did, 'cuz by the time the last arc rolled around, I was like, "heck friggin' yea! This show is awesome!"

And now it's somewhere in my top 10 favorites, probably. Though, I haven't changed my favorites list on this site in some time, so that's not accurate anymore. >_>

I should stop being lazy and take care of that sometime...

School Days ending made me love it a LOT more than during.

I'd say it's murderous ending was the anime's saving grace, NEVER HAVE I hated a main harem char so much ^_^

Gasaraki, not one of Sunrise's well known works but to me, it was the Evangelion Killer. Ethereal and realistic it could have been...

Some hentai I'd rather not mention come to mind ^_^

Actually, kind of experiencing this now.

Back when Gurren Lagann first came out...I wanted to try and enjoy it...but thanks to the snowballing internet hype, the whole thing just lost a LOT of appeal to me.
Flash forward, with the hype finally dying down (...and partially cause I have a vid idea in mind with this) picked up the first DVD set they released a few weeks back...
...on rewatching, surprised to find this is actually better than I remember, now that the hype's not drowning out the show itself.
