Where did you see your first AMV?

Post by AaronAMV » Sat Jul 19, 2008 4:19 am

I know, it's a lot like the one where did you first HOST it, but I'm just curious (I'm guessing that there has also already been a thread made on it but whatever). :P
Now post. ;)

rromig's computer.

It was also a DBZ video to Limp Bizkit. So many of them were in those days of the mid nineties.

Is that when you started editing, in the mid nineties I mean?

Yeah. 1998, to be exact. Started off on Sony VAIO with a 333mhz celeron, 64MBs of ram with a 6GB harddrive.

It's the purple one on the left, behind the potato chips bag:

This is early 2001, I think.

Wow so you've been editing for 10 years now. That's crazy considering I'll be editing for one year on the 26th of this month. :o

From my best friend and studio member Marcus. He downloaded it from a dbz site. Originally he was just looking for some random dbz clips. I guess he wanted to show them to me, because I started to read his DBZ mangas and didn´t watched the anime before.

I can´t remeber the first amvs exactly, but one that I do remeber was Limp Bizkit - My Way with a Vegeta tribute. As far as I rember it was a really good example for non overhasty editing with good mood sync.

Summer 2001 and late summer/in fall we both started to edit.
You can find me on YT under "Bauzi514". Subscribe to never miss my AMV releases. :amv:
