so we do have to fill that out? cause I don't have a scanner or anythingVegettoEX wrote:Forgive me for missing this if it's clearly listed somewhere, but I can't seem to find the appropriate information...
The entry form is necessary to enter the Pro contest. Fine and dandy here; no problem. However, the only mention I see of it with regards to sending it along is if you're sending in DVDs to have burned and sent back to you:
What about digital submissions? Should the PDF be uploaded into the same directory as the video(s)? Should it be sent via snail-mail, regardless? The Rules wrote:To be sure of this, there is a form (linked above) which will need to be filled out and sent in with your DVDs.

Yes you have to fill it out in one way or another.kholaras wrote:PDF, scan, sign with a tablet, or chickenscratch it with MSPaint, same diff as long as it's signed. It's a liability thing, courtesy of the (not so theoretical) possibility of mature content on the discs. Include it with the ftp, email or, or snail mail it.

Ah yeah, the two-handed technique! I've tried that before and it's quite good, but I can become quite tired really fast. So my strategy now is to do it real fast with one hand and then when my current hand gets tired I switch hands..Ileia wrote:And two eyes. I just hope yours can rotate independently.Kitsuner wrote:Edit two videos at once on two computers. Good lcuk to the people particpating!
Wait, were we talking about editing? :O
Anyway, I've finally ripped something - as in 10 DVDs - as I've got no idea what I will do. Stupid new version of DGindex messed up everytime (that's why I have ripped so much), so it took a while before I realized that I should use the old version. Well, I finally got my sources and my audio, so I can start editing... and finish it within 12 hours!
But I do prefer a ghost editor... anybody wanna apply?

Aye, that's fine. For anyone else out there with a package enroute (already mailed or planning to mail) please drop me an email real quick so I can keep an eye open for it. Heh, the iso download solution may be a convenience for many of ya'll but it's turning into a nightmare for me =)
Previously I could just keep a checklist. Package arrived? Yup, done deal. Check for missing contents and yell if anything's missing. Now...I don't have a clue what's coming from where and weeding out the missing stuff's going to be a chore. Fun fun fun.
