okay not to be rude JaddziaDax but don't talk when you don't know anything.

I'm not some spoiled little kid, or some bum who won't get a job, I have two jobs and I use that money to pay for college and food. I hate it when people assume that kind of thing, you know nothing about my life, so don't act like your superior.

As for the video, I really didn't know that was on the rules, I'll attempt to put enough cash aside, though chances are I can't make amvs anymore. The funny thing is even if I buy the dvd the only way to get the program to get the clips off would be downloading it for free. So it's really a choice do I like loveless or mac more. : /

And isn't getting it from a video store and downloading the clips, just as illegal? xD

anyway I didn't come here to argue, I honestly didn't know that was a forum rule, I must have skimmed over the rules to quickly. Sorry for wasteing your time, I probably shouldn't waste my time with amvs anyway.

as opposed to dloading footage/music, ripping music or dvds? it all is illegal actually, but there's a whole heap of threads elsewhere on this forum talking about that stuff. *shrugs*

most threads get locked if the torrent word is mentioned or people get banzored w/e (depends on what happened)

like you said to Jaddzia "don't talk when you don't know anything" personally I like "assumption is the mother of all fuckups" better but to each their own.
I actually edited it to correct some grama and soften the tone a bit because I could see your thinking/side on the matter and wasn't trying to "have a go at you". I'm generally very blunt and/or direct and I know that many people see a tone in my words mostly based on phrasing (not to mention and agressive looking avatar) which isn't actually there.
If you don't believe what I'm saying about editing my post above you could always as a mod or something to confirm what was originally written but w/e

and as for me assuming things, you deal with all the kids that come through here and see how easy it is for you to assume :/ most of them are spoiled little brats that don't want to lift a finger to get the things they want.

I don't see what's wrong with saving a little money here and there to get the things you want weather or not you have two jobs and are in college, it might take a bit of more time, but at least in the end you will get what you want... (and I've found the entire boxed set used at Suncoast for $20, and yea... look out for sales whenever you can - this forum might be of interest to you if that is the case - Used and Bargain Bins for the win...)

also when birthdays or Christmas (or Hanukkah... or whatever other celebratory general gift giving times come up) ask for the DVDs/programs you want or let people know that is what you are interested in, and perhaps out of the blue a friend or family member might buy it for you?

I think the reason i got so angry is because this isn't some out of print very long series you are working with, but a short 12 episode VERY CHEAP series that is VERY EASY to find.
