I actually liked the loose, lazy sync...it's less obtrusive than the anal, hyper-precise HIT EVERY BEAT FOR GREAT JUSTICE type seen elsewhere. The narrative aspect of the editing here is decent and held my interest for its brief running time. However, the stark lack of effects of any sort and the overused fade cut ultimately made it monotonous. The fades looked pretty awkward at the end when the cuts sped up but the fade transition time didn't.

It was all right. For me it felt like it was missing a certain intensity.

I can't believe that there are people complaining that the editing was slow in this. I could barely keep up with what was going on. More evidence for my theory that some people only watch AMVs after taking a few hits of speed.
I'm not sure it should have been an award winner either, but it's certainly a nice MEP segment.
JudgeHolden: Good creator, bad speller. (This is the second vid where you had a typo in your text.)

I have a bit of mixed feelings about the editing - on one hand I do love internal sync and I think for the most part that is pretty decent in this video.
On the other hand it did lack a certain energy... though frankly it may be the fact that the music isn't exactly of my taste.
