• Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
 • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.

In Memory of Soldier A

Post by NeoMikey » Fri Jun 27, 2008 5:08 am

This was my first video with Adobe Premiere! It took a couple months to put together, but my partner-in-AMV-crime Ryuko Dragonhalf and I managed to get it together. The song we used is "Soldier A," by voice actor and singer, Vic Mignogna, and it's a tribute to all the extras and red shirts in anime. Ryuko made the original animation to put into the video and I compiled everything together. By the end, we've finished a video that we think you'll all greatly enjoy :) We used 36 different titles (I don't know how some of you do 100-plus-source videos!) and are happy with the result!

It was a close second for Comedy at the recent Anime Central, and won Best of Comedy, Audience Choice, and Best of Show at the recent Jafax!

Download it here!

I won't bitch about video quality. Sources are what they are.
It was a nice oldschool multi-animes parody. Concept could have probably been better handled but it was still fun.
Good job.
