Incomplete AMV

This is just to show people what I have done so far
and my youtube acc got banned so ihave to use this
youtube account.
Neway this is what I have done so far.
And I WILL removed the intro and some really random parts
and add scenes from other animmes/moves/games.
And I WILL add effects after I'm done with this
But this is what it looks so far.

I am not interessted at all

This is a-m-v.org not YT. We have our own site with own hosting. It´s rude to come along with such things =/

Why on earth should anybody be interressted into a noob posting his "progress"? We don´t even know you! You must be kidding.

Good... Finish your amv or inform us with journal entries at the main site. Come back and upload it here. Present it with an announcement thread, but spare us such threads please.

Oh;; I apologize I was just so eager to post it up that I didn't take the time to Look through the whole site and thought it'd be easier to view it on youtube rather than just making people dl/open. But alright
One more thing my friend said to post it here whenever I finish the timeline so yeah.

If you would take a look around you would see that the announcement forum is no place for betas.

Take your ability to make a journal entry with your account! With a link to the download or to YT if you want to.

Eh... point of view, but it´s easy to upload and download it from a one click hoster like megaupload.com or savefile.com too. YT takes your amv and makes it look crappy and it often screws up the sync and timing for non existing reasons. Today most internet users have the infrastructure to download 20-60MB very fast. The value of the difference between 10 MB on YT and 20-60MB gets more and more relativly small.

Oh yeah the AMV suggestion or the opinion exchange is a good place to search for beta tests and opinions on betas.
Don´t we even have an IRC channel who is dedicated to betas?

Hey if you say I´m a snob: Bullshit. I told him why I thought this way and I gave him advices on how to do right on the site. Ok the first post was a bit harsh, but the other one was definatly not that hard at all.

If you´re still your opinion: Well be thankfull that the lesser evil got over hime. I mean there were dozen of people who would come along even wore and wouldn´t explain something at all.

exactly my point. i don't mean to single you out, i'm just getting tired of all the power trips i keep running into here. it's getting old and makes the rest of us look bad.

Yerah ok, but what should we do in such standard situations? Seriously.

In the end if you tell him everything he needs to know it would end up in tons of links to threads and guides. Maybe this would still looks like a power trip to outsiders of the com?

Ok in the end: He got some attention, because of the reactions on the thread that are still going on. In the end I wonder were all the comments are that should come now. All the people who just want to say something, like: Flame more, say that these harsh posts are not alright (oh wait...

), bitching, real feedback?,....

Maybe it´s more attention that he would get without posts like usualy threads of new people dissapear. So the chances are higher that he maybe gets constructive feedback, what he was searching for...

Ah... There is usualy a chance of... maybe 50% to get the thread into a positive direction of the original poster and I do think that it highly depends on his second post. It was a nice post as far as I interpreted it so I gave him even more advices.

I think this will barely change as long as it doesn´t get stricter here, but in all honesty: I don´t really want it stricter in the forums. It´s most of the time nice at it is. You can´t really avoid such people. It´s a matter of how good you can ignore them in my eyes.

No. Just give him links to the rules and to where he can find some guides and let it be at that. Don't get all like "We don't give a fuck about your progress because nobody here even knows you" yah, he's in the wrong place right now but I, for example, would be willing to beta his videos..and i'm sure others would do so if he asked in the IRC

However it is reality right? This time I was just "the bad guy" who pointed it out. Somebody has to tell it or he would maybe continue and maybe will never understand why he gets bad reactions.
I said why he should think more and look around more before a post. If he would have looked around, it would come to mind that this thread wouldn´t make a sense because of this reason.

Uh... me and you give him feedback right now. So at least 2 people... let´s see how much more people will come.
