-------------------------------------------------------------

Well here it is! My 4th AMV. I spent a LOT of time on this one compared to my others, so I really hope you guys like it. At a run-time of 6 minutes 19 seconds.. it was a hard AMV to accomplish alone!
Thanks to all of you who have been so great in downloading and reviewing my previous AMVs. I keep making these AMVs just for you to enjoy!

I realize that I havent remastered this AMV. I know, Im lazy. I just need to figure out AviSynth/scripting/etc. I have a master copy of this AMV waiting to be remastered whenever I figure out how. Anyways, I will be perfecting the graphics on this video later! But for now, I think the quality is fairly decent.

what do all those sources have in common? nothing I can think of actually(besides being anime), but I'll have a look anyway to see if it's randomness or something else..

This one didn't do it as good as your last one. :/

Wasn't as emotionally impacting as Everytime We Touch, and at times it looked really quite random.

But still overall pretty good, it just needed some more stuff tying it together.

I don't get it. :?

Well, if you were trying to tell a story or tribute I didn't anyway. Everything was really random.

What I DID get from it was an emotional connection. It was like a wonderful, swirling dance. I liken it to the difference between ballet/opera/musical theatre and modern dance. Your pictures didn't tell a story, they were one. It wasn't just that I liked the song. The motion in the images brought focus here then there without being the destination of thought. That or I'm tripping on my leftover take-out.

I was a little dissappointed that you didn't change pace or visual style when the cello solo happened(4:04). It felt neglected.

This video wasn't "awesome", it was beautiful. If this wasn't as good as your last then I can't wait to see it. Thank you for the vid.

First of all thanks for your comments on this :)

Basically I was trying to tie a bunch of completely different animes together with the whole concept that everyone in the animes were looking for their "haven" away from all the struggles of daily life, etc
Plus I was trying to make a video you could watch numerous times and see something different in each viewing. I know the images go really fast but the song seems to demand that kind of action to it
I do believe Im going to refrain from another action AMV for a while and focus on the one I was actually good at (romantic, sentimental, slow songs) and perhaps work my way back up to a fast song like this

I just wanted to do something out of the ordinary and try to surprise people :)

Did it work?

Hmm... i can see that now, now that I look at it like that way. :O

Careful about that though. AMV's should be able to tell a story without any help from editors. At least anyway.
