  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Ideas come and go to me for AMV's. Lately here been working too much to have any time to edit and get better, but id like to think this is one of my best. Anyways this is one of the, i think, 3 projects i been working on in between work and sleep. Theres nothing new or ground breaking about this AMV, theres music.....theres video....just an AMV plain and simple.

I'd say it was pretty good. :O

It was inconsistant at times (change in sync during the song) and I found it kind of hard to watch at times.

It was still really good though! I highly approve.

Well as i said, its nothing great but a good idea none the less i would think. AMVs are just something i do in my spare time which is very limited. but i do hope you some what enjoy it.

Eh, it was okay, you badly need to deinterlace or at least export as progressive and not interlaced (thats how it looked to me)... also the aspect ratio is a bit stretched...

Technical issues aside, I thought some of the scene selection was good however the cut sync was terrible, I recently posted in another thread that flashing is one of the things I don't like about a video, and well this is the exact type of cut sync I'm talking about... I think that instead of trying to cram all those scenes in there and flashing between them you could have really picked up on the emotion of the song better... Flashing if done in moderation works, but it seemed to appear and disappear at random...

My favorite part of this song is the Violin and it was ignored :(

The effects you chose were well placed (the grey scales and the "cookie cutters"), the end kinda reminded me of Evangelion Opus but in a good way.

still a good combination, just think it lost some of the feeling to the song.

Good, you didn't use the anime I'm going to use when I make this video.

nice vid

the fact that I took the time to deinterlace and resize
during playback tells me it was worth watching.

Hrm, thought i deinterlaced it out of premiere but i guess it could have slipped my mind....normally i would use Zarx264gui to put it in HQ but my normal method with it doesnt work anymore for some reason so i used my back up method which is a program called Total Video Converter and well it got the job done i guess, just not as good as Zarx.

I appreciate the feedback, but mostly i guess im just looking for wether not im improving as an editor, seeing how its just something i do when i get the time its hard to improve..
