I liked the original about 200 times better.

The border around the video got irritating to look at after the first minute.

The floating characters photoshopped was also kind of rough to look at.

The biggest issue of everything was the fact that it constantly distracted from the actual video you were trying to achieve.

The piano bars was definitly imporved upon majestically! Way to go there.

All in all, I like them both, but I preferred the original over the new version.

Good work though. Definitly worth a download!

I'm with CodeChrono. I loved it the first time around. This time, not so much. The border is static and gets really boring really fast. The character cutouts in the corners look stretched half the time, and were quite distracting. You even left in the orphan frames the first version had in a few spots.

I'm torn on the new piano keys. Yes, they're nicer looking, but they also make things visually busier. Some of them work better than others.

There were a few other additions I find iffy, like the overlay of Saber in the 3:40 range. Yes, it's a nice effect, but it is also distracting.

But the kicker, I think, is that you have both a ten second intro and a minute long outro for a total of five minutes of video. Is that really necessary?

Overall, this is far from bad, but I like the first version much better.

Oh, and your server is sending incorrect MIME types.

I haven't seen the first version so I shall do that in a minute :/

as for the "2.1", I personally really liked it - it's good editing with a selection of powerful shots, very nicely composed. I won't repeat the problems others have already addressed, though one thing about the character profile shots: they do look very stretched. I don't think you have to take them out, just correct the aspect ratio. :)

Edit: Alright just watched the first version and I have to agree, I like the first version a lot better. The remake seems to be aimed for "flashy" and I think it overshot its goal a little bit - I like the use of black fades in the first version over the additive fades in the second - it allows me to focus on the images more. The flashes in the remake does get a bit distracting after a while.

Also, I think I personally prefer the original piano bars more; it's more mysterious (since you can't see the whole image) and hence, dramatic.
