Thanks for all the opinions.

to Many People: Maybe I shouldn't have mentioned anything about lipsynch since now everyone is looking for missed frames in synch, just to prove that the video sucks beyond all belief. :p

The synch is a bit off at several scenes. I noticed the severity of missynch of certain scenes only after I made the export, encore and upload, so fixing these missynched scenes would have been troublesome. Same applies to those (badly pixelated) text objects before encore... I was sloppy when I exported it and didn't properly go through it anymore as I had verified each scene a hundred times before... the problem just being that I added the text objects just before final export.

to Kevmaster: I didn't use many effects because I wanted the live performance to respect the limits of school theater. Sure, it was (quite) a bit too limited... But the original footage had even less effects.

And, no, I don't mean it to be comedic. Originally I thought I'd make it a comedy with ENOZ performance being only some sort of extra bling-bling to it. I intended to remake Full Metal Highschool Massacre(*) with added Full Metal Panic footage and some short scenes from Gunslinger Girl and all shorts of series that include detailed animation of handguns. But... the ENOZ performance kinda made me obsessed and at one point I realized that making a comedic end to a video that started with heavily synch-based editing would render all the previous work pretty much a filler...

to Many People: And yeah, it's repetitive. 5 minute AMV with 3 minutes of footage. I basically used all the feasible scenes of the ENOZ's performance yet still had to repeat them in the video. I could have used clips from the episode "Day of the Sagittarius" and some space simulation fighting because that would be AWESOME but I decided not to go that route. That way I wouldn't repeat myself but instead repeat everything other people have done (with the expection of certain masterpieces, which manage to completely avoid those vomit inducing clichés).

5 minutes... and that's a severely shorted one. I clipped the first song in length from 5½ minutes to just 3½. And faded out in middle of the encore, at 1½ minute mark (track length would be 5½ minutes). I had more pity for the masses than KMFDM has.

(*) Yes, THAT crappy yet wonderfully malevolent video made as a quick response to Jokela highschool shooting. My first vid that was. I did it for the lulz and some lulz was granted. Only sick f*cks liked it, though. :p

Didn't get a permban from YT, which did kinda disappoint me. Must - Try - Harder.

There may well be a few scenes where the synch is a little bit off, but I don't care at this point. Unlike most would-be 'concert' videos, you actually synched the riffs and drum beats. It makes for quite the awesome impression.

The encore was fun, even if Haruhi's smile decidedly didn't match the lyrics.

4/5.

Good effort, and hey, it has KMFDM. I managed to sit through the entire thing, when usually a 'concert video' is a instant delete if I even grabbed it in the first place.

first time i thought "no not one more haruhi video" but after a time i load it, and wow really cool. The music is really good and it is funny to see it, that haruhi sing the male voice. And also the rest fits great work.

Kalium: "Unlike most would-be 'concert' videos, you actually synched the riffs and drum beats. It makes for quite the awesome impression."

The latter part of Anarchy would have had even more awesome guitar riffs and well as long drum solo. But making yet another prone to phail 10 minute AMV wasn't my intention.

"The encore was fun, even if Haruhi's smile decidedly didn't match the lyrics."

Haruhi's lines at that scene was:
"Feel no remorse
No sense of shame
Time's gonna wash away all pain"

I think that out of all the lines in the song, those were pretty much the only ones that could be sung with an ironic smile. Consider it a comic relief on otherwise quite serious AMV.

Also, those lines were sung in a softer tone (and less aggressive electronic voice manipulation) so a softer facial expression was in order.

to Lumiere92: yeah. That's why I clipped the songs in length. There's a few cracking noises as audio gain overshoots during crossfading. I used "constant power". "Constant gain" didn't overshoot the gain during crossfade but the fading sounded like pure Ready-In-60-Seconds Porridge... because that's bad stuff. And I do mean BAD. Even dogs that like to eat RABBIT SH*T don't eat 60 second porridge. Makes me wonder why they feed human children with it. Then again, child torture is fun.

to Falconone: male voice, female voice... with that much electronic alteration used by KMFDM, I couldn't tell the difference. This doesn't obviously apply to all KMFDM songs but Stray Bullet and Anarchy had quite pseudo-synthetic vocals in it.

Not the first time I've lipsynched male voice to a female character but it was the first time I did it in a serious way. (Louis Armstrong -> Haruka from KgNE -> definitely NOT serious.)

EDIT: also, Wombstretcha -> some bitch from Yakin Byoutou. Some French male singing -> Sekai from School Days. And Turmion Kätilöt growling in Finnish -> Rena from Higurashi. Gender reversed lipsynch has probably become some sort of trademark for my vids but not on purpose. It's just so b-tarded I can't restrain myself despite the fact that sometimes it's rather unfunny. This time, IMHO, it did worked out quite well, though. It was also the first time I lipsynched more than a few words or sentences.

EDIT: added text formating (=bolding)

^^ Nice work!

I thought it was amusing, because the lyrics described Haruhi perfectly. Plus the guy voice. I didn't get the impression it was supposed to be a serious AMV.

Overall sync was good (lipsynch not absolutely perfect, but good enough). A couple of gripes I had was you selected scenes which synched, but didn't have continuity... like at the beginning (0.23) you had the drums synching, but it's physically impossible for the right hand to be moving furiously on the drum then for both hands to be hovering over the cymbal ??? (tin hat?? idk what it's called) in the next second. Same deal at 2.00 with the drums again. But I'm not sure how many options there were, considering the limited footage.

And that song's pretty addictive. :0

Meh, pretty boring imo. Doesnt seem like you did that much editing. It was creative but the lip sync needs work and use more scenes.
