AMV Horror Stories?

One of the few i can remember, just happened to me about 5 minutes ago...
A project I had completed for a con entry I spent the past 4 hours to touch it up and rendering. The 2 hours it took to render and when it was finally finished, I realized I rendered it in the completely wrong settings. Then it's going to take time that I don't really have to re-render then encode...again <_<

Just keep workin on it then. Only way to get better...and I'd highly recommend you take life drawing and figure drawing. Those are awesome classes for teaching you better observation.

It's not like you actually talk to people outside the forums to collab with somebody, or is it? Because you seem pretty sensitive about your contact info!

It's cus I know them in real life, I met em at the convention. They love the stories, they hate the art. My fellow doujin artists know a good story when they see it, but it takes good art to rope in readers. The other artists are afraid to let me draw anything, but I've helped with stories a couple of times. And I am sensitive about contact info ONLY online.

I deleted a project file for a video i was working on recently ... naturally, i went and drank/smoked ... but chances are i would have done that anyways : / lol

AE has to load each frame into RAM to play nicely with it. I once had these frames that were 17212 x 11475. Had to build a new computer to handle them. It still took a good 20-30 seconds for changes to appear when I set the rendering to 1/8 quality. After a good 10 hours of work, I still wound up with the crappy segment I have in Genkaiten instead of this huge, grandiose vision I had planned. In retrospect, that entire video was a series of long time-sinks that ended with me just settling on something because I was sick of doing more work.

The scariest thing on the org would be... if all the bandwidth on the internet turned into... wood.
