- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

While I preferred cals video in round 1 due to kickass flow and action sync I will vote for alex this go around.
Cals IC showed an interesting approach with the hard cuts but disrupted the flow a little (6.7/10).
The multilayering on the upper and lower third of the screen got a little old after a while in alex' vid, but the thing really got me from 0.50 and on (7/10).
so, close call I guess. ;p

You both really have fx down. In terms of mood sync, Warheart wins, as for plain action Mr DJ wins.
Wow, I can totally tell you can do so much with that eva footage I can't wait to edit with that..
oh yeah, for whats important.. joy factor. Warheart wins that(the way you edit the footage to the audio and also that footage was damn interesting)
Over all
DJ 3/5
Warheart 4/5

Well I'm glad I waited till now to post primarily because I'm bored at work but also because every one has already said nearly everything I would have said.
Cal - I hate evangellion with a passion, so i was "barely" able to stomach this. so comments other than what has been said already: I think this would be rated 4th best among the eva vids that I have seen (and there's a lot), your sync was kinda choppy for about a 20 second block in the first half and then gor shit loads better in the second half. It really did look "random" with scenes all over the shop and your sync in the second half was not very dynamic (ie, you did internal sync for a section, then went to cutting for another section etc) kinda stuck in chunks and blocks :\, Visual quality looked sexy, but overall I felt disconnected to the song *shrugs*
Alex - the bad points have already been pointed out by others so ontop of those are: I hated you audio it made watching this almost painful, and you seemed to be doing almost the same stuff (overlays etc) as on previous vids it really didn't feel very original or "new", much beeter mood sync here tho and it has a semblance of a story line or continuity not a very strong one tho, I was dissapointed in the visual quality (but I saw that first xvid so I've no idea if you made it better) but I really felt this flowed better than Cal's esp when you song changed pace and the sync styyle was well mixed and dispersed throughout the vid.
So all in all I'm voting German and not burly this time.
