now some of the effects at the begining turned me off BUT I stuck with it and it built up nicely .. a few random bits here and there but I didn't mind watching it and actually enjoyed it near the end you stopped the effects and it flows heaps better ;]
I haven't seen the series yet I could follow what was going on wuite well

Wow, best DNAngel vid I've ever seen. Unfortunately that's not saying much because most DNAngel vids are shit so when you compare this vid, naturally its the best because it's a pretty damn good vid. ^_^
I love the parrallels you drew between Ice and Snow (? it's been a while since I saw the series so correct me if that's wrong,) and Daisuke/Rika was fabulous, since I'd never have seen it otherwise. A total 10/10 for creativity on this because you did well on storyline and plot- and those are my main hooks for a vid.
Your effects at the beginning weren't bad, but they weren't good either, the vid flowed much better toward the end I found, as did my sister. ^^;

I think the main things that stood out on this vid was that you used a series that's been done a lot, but you picked probably the best scenes out of the whole thing- I think DNAngel is like shooting fish in a barrel for the good scenes it's got- and yet people constantly overlook a lot of it. I loved how you did this, a good mix of sync and scene-change. And the storyline was good. Did I already mention that? that's because you deserve it- good story/plot, makes for happiness ^___^
In terms of editing- perhaps lay off the additive dissolve a little. ^^;;

Anyway, great job! I loved it!

Videos like this are the reason I peruse the Announcement board from time to time. Very solid editing with effective syncing, what looked to be a cohesive concept (haven't seen the show, but I felt like I could follow it moderately well), pretty high quality, and engaging from start to finish. My only real issue with it was some jagged edges around the characters, which isn't much of a complaint considering that, on the whole, this is a superb video. Other than that one thing, I don't have too much negative to say about it. I'm not familiar with the source, but now I want to go watch it. XD

Yeah, my other friend brought the jagged lines to my attention, I don't know how that happened. (My eyes are pretty bad, so I couldnt see it) I'll try to see if I can fix it up. But thank you for watching. ^^ Glad you enjoyed...lol as my first DNAngel vid, I wasnt sure how it was going to play out.

okay, I like Nightwish, despite their overratedness.

Maybe it's just my computer, but those jagged lines really killed it for me.
either it was a bad deinterlacing job, or a bad resizing job. [or maybe it's my computer... which has CCCP installed]. If it's a bad resizing job, just make sure the input, AND output resolutions are the same. If it's the deinterlacing, look through this more thoroughly

As far as the content of the video goes. this is cool stuff just try to keep the amount of motion into consideration [this is just a personal preference] and I'll enjoy it more. This is just a personal preference.

Yeah, Nightwish and Within Temptation have good songs despite becoming a bit overused now. XD

Hmm I'll check out those sites....but I dont think it's resizing...since they were that size when I ripped them. Unless I didn't rip them properly. But I heard ADV boxsets lower the quality to squeesh 5 eps instead of 4 on one disk...could that have been what caused the jagged lines? ...I can only think that it's either that or the way I ripped it. :/

Yeah... sorry about the begining.... <_< I didn't know what else to put...I wanted to keep the eps leading up to the Ice and Snow arc...except, there were so little good scenes, it frusterated me. Thanks for sticking with it though. =P lol I was afraid the intro would be bad that ppl would just turn it off and not see the end when I really worked hard on.
Yeah, my goal in AMVs is to consider ppl who have not seen the series, and try to tell the story as best as I can and pick songs which tell the story itself so people wouldnt have to guess. ^_^ I'm glad that worked out! Thanks for checking it out. ^^

^_^ Glad you liked it! Heh, yeah, I've always wanted to see a good DNAngel vid...so I decided to make one myself! =P lol. I;m so happy you enjoyed and understood the parrallels in the story. ^_^ I was trying to at the begining, show the stories as seperate...then coming together at the very end... lol I thought the lyrics fit very nicely... Daisuke trapped in the story, which is basically what the song is about, which is why I thought it matched very well.

Heh yeah...Additive Dissolve, I didnt know what else to put to make it match the music. <_< ...lol maybe next time I'll stick with Cross Dissolve. =D Thanks for checking it out.

And as soon as I found out what makes those jagged lines and fix them, I'll make another DNAngel vid spanning the whole series.
