Tsukimiya Ayu no Monogatari (Ayu's Story)
Hi,
Another amv on Kanon 2006. Originally I wanted to make a general amv on all the charcters of this anime, but half way through I decided that it would probably be better if I made it on the character with the most scenes so far (Ayu). I tried to challenge myself by doing a more difficult task, namely trying to sync the pics with the piano keys. I think I got most of it right, but there still are a few mistakes. It took me about a week to make this and I personally think that this song is the best way to describe the relationship between Ayu and Yuuichi. I'm planing to make my next 'story amv', which is most likely going to be on Minase Nayuki. I hope you like this.
P.S. I wonder what you think of the side-story I put in the end?

Saboten-Con
Wow,
I never expected this but, I've recently been asked for permission to show this amv at the Saboten-Con. I couldn't believe it. I don't know much about it but could some of my more experienced seniors enlighten me as I don't know how important it is. Preety soon I'll upload my newest amv and I hope you like it. Thank you everyone.

This was a really cute AMV.
Here is my honest opinion about what I thought:
Quality/Visual: Wasn't the greatest, but it wasn't so bad that it was distracting. Maybe it's the WMV format it was saved in? The aspect ratio was off due to cutting out the subtitles and resizing. There were times in the video when the subtitles popped up just barely from under the bottom. If possible when cropping try to make sure all the subtitles are completely gone.
Storyline/Flow: I really loved the song you picked for the couple. It suits Yuuichi and Ayu. Great job there!
I know you said this was originally at first was going to be an AMV about all the characters, so the only complaint I have was at the piano key parts: It would have been better if you had stuck with just shots of the two instead of putting in pictures of all the characters. Also, I personally think that Yuuichi's scream at 1:52 didn't fit the mood or the lyrics at that part of the song.
Overall: I really think this is a very cute AMV. I'm sure everyone at Saboten-Con is really going to like it! Congratulations and good luck! I'll leave you an opinion tonight if I have time.

Thanks
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it, all I can say is that I can try harder to fix these minor mistakes as I learn how to use the Movie Maker and other softwares better. About the quality, when ever I try to convert the wmv to any other format the sound and lyrics always go off a bit and at some points it gives off uneccesary sounds, I don't know what to do with it so I stay with the wmv format (sorry). I have no excuse about the piano key parts other than I loved the way it looked and couldn't bring myself to change themMelichan923 wrote:This was a really cute AMV.Here is my honest opinion about what I thought:

P.S. Just how important is this Saboten-Con as I clearly have no idea how happy I should be?

P.S.S. I'm going to send you an invite soon

Thanks
Glad you liked it. Gomenasai, I could not bring myself to alter the sync and images I spent 3 days to edit and re-edit and I seriously felt that it would be a waste to change it. As you rightly say I should of stuck to those two but all I can say is I really couldn't (or rather did not want to) change it as it gave me a feeling of being 'super-imposed' fairly well and any changes would never be as good as this one. Plus I was preety lazyharuhist91 wrote:not bad i liked it and it was cute
