Haven't seen a video like this before. Just the random effects every other second was pretty pointless but seems very experimental. Timing was off all over the place, it seems you added interlacing lines when you compressed the video, the video quality really does look bad.. I'm sure you can do a lot better. This is your first so no big deal.
I know I'm not being too helpful. Just thought I'd leave my impression.

Well, honestly... too many effects. I didn't really get a feel for it. Good song though. It needs faster pacing to match the song. When you take apart the video footage with the song and just play the footage, it you can't really tell whats going on because all you see are effects. This video is a good test video.
Next time try like brainstorming ideas together and scenes at a certain point and try to fix it on a certain conclusion.
I like the song though ^^
There is always room for improvement, even for those that are considered "Good" at AMV's.

the effects would have been okay if the video had any connection to the song at all... aside from spoilers - and the chrous - i found no connection between the song and the video...
