God, you people must learn to appreciate videos for what they are.
The Decision on synching the Video like that was great imho, because it fit the atmosphere of the song. The Song sounds chaotic and violent and the synching patterns represent the song's feeling. Chosing Animatrix as source was another great decision. The abstract and changing drawing style pushes the "chaotic"
feeling even more.
And someone who thinks Instrumental songs are boring, just can't look deeper into them. They can't get a songs emotion and feeling without anyone 'telling them what its about' (talking about songs with lyrics here) and that really saddens me.
There is no Need for a Story or Plot, the editing is the main point here and just like the Instruments do the job in this kind of song (where no lyrics are needed), the editing does the job in this video (no story needed).

God and you have to accept that this kind of syncing bores some people.
Just for the beginning credits, afterwards it turned out be some kind of nasty like some people here mentioned.because it fit the atmosphere of the song.
They just don´t like them! Like I don´t like country music.And someone who thinks Instrumental songs are boring, just can't look deeper into them.

Which does fit the Song also.it turned out be some kind of nastybecause it fit the atmosphere of the song.
There's always a reason for not liking something. There is no "just", there's always something deeper.They just don´t like them! Like I don´t like country music.And someone who thinks Instrumental songs are boring, just can't look deeper into them.

You make it seem like I'm trying to be a dictator and force you to think what I think.OropherZero wrote:x2Bauzi wrote:Not everybody is your opinion. Accept that.
End of story.
Hell no, I'm just stating what I feel and making my standpoint clear. It is a Discussion afterall where you try to convince the other by arguing.

Using the same syncing pattern over and over again does not make a video seem chaotic, this way it becomes predictable and easy to read thus boring.Kevmaster wrote:The Decision on synching the Video like that was great imho, because it fit the atmosphere of the song. you can creatively make use of an abstract and unpredictable style which just didn't happen in here.
aka why I didn't like it.

@Scott Green:
You understand it.
I'm looking foreward to you HYPERPOWER! stuff!
I really thought you hate it, first
@ArashinomeAMV:
I'm sorry that you couldn't get into it.
@simofc90 & Goketsu:
I'm glad you like it!
I'm gonna check Eidolon, when it comes out!
Maybe you can enjoy one of my future videos better than this.
@Emong:
Thank you for the nice statement you gave me.
Actually I wanted to do this project first with "The Biginning of the End" but I took "Hyperpower!" because I wanted a short song and if the song would have been longer, I don't know if I would have finished it then.
As for the other part, you may be right with a lack of profundity in the concept, but it also isn't random made.
Anyway I'm happy with the 4 stars, you gave me.

THANK YOU ALL FOR WATCHING AND COMMENTING!!!
You understand it.

I knew that and I'm sorry, but I also wanted to do sth. with this song for a long time.Bauzi wrote:Damn it. I wanted to make a vid with it too =P It´s mys favorite song from the record. Well I can make one now because I know that it would look different and not like the same.

You might be right on this.Bauzi wrote:According to the other comments it might highly be that this vid is only something for people who like the song like me. I think that they bring up good points.
thxShatteredFlame wrote:I kinda lost interest and got bored with it halfway through tbh. But that's because I hate AMV's with these boring instrumental songs. The intro with the screen edits was pretty hawt. Editing was pretty nice. But I just couldn't get into it rly :/ 3/5

You made me have this on loop for a while.

I agree with you for the intro part. Actually the main video was finished 2 weeks ago and the intro was the last thing to do. It was kinda a burden for me, so when it turned out the way it is now, I had enough from intro editing.Niwa-kun wrote:Good job
To be honest I'm not really a fan of Animatrix but ur video had some fresh style on it and kept me interested till the end. Bauzi might have mentioned about the font at the beginning and I pretty much agree about it since the whole video had this ''digital feeling'' so a font style such as ''Acen'' or ''Earth'' would've done a better job in this case.
The beat sync was tight at the beginning but it became a bit of a burden after 0:34 and those scanlines were not necessary.

I can live with that.Niotex wrote:6.7/10

I have no problem with harsh comments. I was aware of it, that the song and sync isn't everyone's deal. The only thing that offended me a bit is the word "uncreative", but I'm gonna ignore it for now.JCD wrote:To be honest, I hated it.
The way you synched was just really uncreative. Followed a really repetive pattern which got annoying after 2 seconds with no real attention payed to making scenes fit the music. The only thing that helped here was the freaky art style of Animatrix, but that isn't your doing. That thought away, the editing is like a badly random action video where the editor tried to "sync everything".
Since there was nothing else to it beside action, overall
Sorry if that sounds harsh. Try to sync internally, not using effects or flashes. Pay attention to scenes fitting each other and the music. If you do that properly, the sync will do itself. Better luck next time!

I think people who can identify themselves with the song and the editing style can see more than just a random action video. My type of syncing doesn't help that, but what should I do - I'm a beat syncing freakOropherZero wrote:I didn't like it. There was just nothing to it, a completely random video which does nothing but synch the beats (kind of like Decoy's syncher thing with the Animatrix footage slapped over it), 0 substance or sense of direction it wouldn't have made a difference if half of the video was cut out. 2.5/5 =|

I tried it and I'm comfortable with the result. Thx.mal shuir wrote:Oh boy .. My respect 2 be able to edit with this music !!!
It's not bad ... I'll leave it on the HD
Thx.Falconone wrote:its different to other videos, and i must say really good editing to this song. It fits and is a really good video. i like the style so great job
